Testimonials
As a first-time Mum with no clue how to approach my 13-month old daughter's fussy eating and the requirement that she put on more weight, I was so glad I found Sue. Wanting to avoid stuffing her full of bad fats and creating a precedent for poor eating habits, I was guided by Sue into finding a better way. Finding a way to incorporate nutritionally balance and wholesome food into our finicky children's diet isn't as hard as we lead ourselves to believe. Sue came up with a plan for us which maximised my daughter's appetite for solids and provided me with so many ideas to include good fats and nutrients into every bite. Sue's advice has led us down an inspired and fun-food pathway, not the anxiety-ridden and dreaded mealtime scenario we were contemplating.

Good Food, Good Fun Nutrition Talk - We would like to thank...Sue for (her) very informative talk. It was such a success (that) hopefully Sue...will present again next year. We have attached the handout on 'Quick, Healthy Meal Options for Busy Parents of Active Preschoolers'.

Just a quick note to say thank you as I have received my results back following treatment and they have come back negative!! Yipee :) so now just working on building my health but wanted to say thank you for your help and support to get me on the right track. Your knowledge of blastocystis hominis first hand and the positive outlook and hope you gave was much needed at the time and I thank you very much.

My husband and I visited Sue for general advice regarding healthy eating and weight loss, with an ultimate goal to prepare ourselves for starting to try for a family. She put us on a liver detox program, provided advice that was specific to our concerns and stayed in contact with us to monitor our progress and help keep us on track. She also provided lots of useful supporting information, which I am still using almost 12 months later. We found the program very beneficial and were lucky enough to fall pregnant with twins very soon after we completed the program. This was a complete surprise to us as twins do not run in either family! I am sure that Sue's help and advice played a part in this amazing outcome. In general, we found working with Sue very beneficial and we learnt a lot. I have stayed in touch with Sue throughout my pregnancy to stay on top of the extra nutritional needs for growing twins and have found the ongoing help useful and beneficial. We are now just a few short weeks from welcoming our twins to the family, and the next chapter will begin. I have no hesitation in recommending Sue to friends who are also thinking of starting a family.

Thank you for all your wonderful advice. Your service really lived up to what you offered on your flyer. I have more energy, have lost some weight and have all that awful bloating and cravings under control. I hope to maintain my new regime, lose a few more kilos and I will then be satisfied that I have achieved what I set out to do... to find a healthier lifestyle program that suits me that I can stick with and to improve my overall wellbeing.

Sue, you are my hero and I will forever be indebted to you! For 12 years I have struggled with horrible tummy symptoms, headaches, low levels of oestrogen, weight loss, mysterious urinary tract infections (without the infection) and more recently, serious fatigue. Neurologists couldn’t explain or fix my symptoms, endocrinologists couldn’t explain or fix my symptoms and GPs almost convinced me that everything was in my head and I had IBS which I should treat with ‘IBS support’!
As soon as I met Sue, I knew my experience would be different. I knew she would give me answers. Her warmth, empathy and professionalism was so refreshing. Her thorough, 4 step discovery and testing method gave me confidence that a solution would be found.
Thank you Sue for enabling me to discover that I had Blastocystis (Hominis). Since treatment, which was in conjunction with Sue’s recommended natural supplements, I feel like a new woman. I am full of energy and vitality and (finally) symptom free. My husband and 3 children are amazed at the new me!
What a special and selfless person you are Sue to rejuvenate the health and wellbeing of people everywhere. You are an angel.

Just wanted to let you know it has been great being treated by you, I have made more headway with you than with any of the other medical professionals I have seen! Thank you for that – especially as you are good and patient at dealing with complicated cases. It is so good finally getting diagnoses for my problems.

I recently visited Sue because I had tummy problems. It was a most revealing session. At last someone could provide me with the full run down of tummy and bowel movement – from the full range of tests available, dietary recommendations and all related factors and solutions. Unlike regular GPs or specialists, Sue provides the complete unbiased picture and all the alternatives – not just the ones she is familiar with. For example, from Sue I learned that there were many more tummy bugs than just Giardia, Crypto and Blastocystis (Hominis). And more importantly, I learned that there are many more tests (that are more accurate) for tummy parasites than the basic stool test recommended by GPs. Specialists will just want to do an endoscopy and colonoscopy – they won’t even mention cheaper, less intrusive and potentially more accurate tests. Sue’s advice is unbiased and complete. If you have tummy problems – go and see her – you have got nothing to lose. You will definitely learn something.

Sue helped me tweak my diet & lifestyle to achieve some health goals including managing fatigue, hitting a weight goal and getting pregnant. Her extensive knowledge about gut health in addition to her nutrition expertise means she offers very comprehensive and well rounded advice that’s easy to follow.

Sue's consultation was both flexible and enlightening. She was thorough in her investigation, and guided me through a new direction to sort out my health issues. The fact that I'm based in the UK made no difference. A Skype video conference was all I needed to proceed with her recommendations over here.

The wonderful news is my husband is a lesser man by 14kg, he also ran a half marathon last weekend and to top it off is looking like a great clothes horse - all thanks to you! Sue has a passion for healthy living and shared her extensive wealth of nutritional knowledge openly. Her down to earth and energetic approach kept me engaged and motivated me to make necessary food and lifestyle changes. Our life is healthier and happier thanks to Sue's education. Sue was genuinely interested and dedicated to our family goals and us succeeding to maintain a healthier and happier lifestyle.
We did most of our consults via email which worked wonderfully and enabled us to still use Sue while living overseas. I really enjoyed Sue's program. I felt a new sense of energy and vitality almost immediately. This was followed by weight loss results and a keen interest to eat only fresh and healthy foods.

Sue had helped me previously with weight loss and so I turned to her again in relation to a recent health issue (which, as it turned out, was actually affecting the whole family). I knew Sue had extensive experience with gastrointestinal problems and in fact she seems to know more than most GPs and even some specialists in this field! In the past I always would have turned to the medical profession for things like this but my experience with Sue has proved that doctors don't know everything. The end result was that Sue helped our family get rid of 2 parasites (Blastocystis Hominis and Dientamoeba Fragilis) that were causing symptoms in some of us and no obvious symptoms in others.
In conjunction with the CDD (Centre for Digestive Diseases) we discovered that I had been misdiagnosed with Crohn’s disease for 12 years when in fact it turned out to be a parasite called Dientamoeba Fragilis. I've never felt better since and fell pregnant quickly after being treated, having had a chromosomal issue with a previous pregnancy when I had the parasite.
My 2 year old son was showing signs of irritability/mood swings, lack of concentration, frequent & semi-formed bowel movements and small growth (one doctor mentioned failure to thrive) and irregular sleeping (sometimes we were up at 4.30am for the day). He was constantly battling with a snotty nose and infections; he was on antibiotics about once a month for the first 2 years of his life. Some of these things you could put down to normal toddler behaviour but as a whole it didn't seem right. Sue steered us on the path to get him treated and healthy (by using the right paediatrician, testing procedures and restorative diet and supplements) and now people say he is a different person - he is happier, has normal bowel movements and is looking healthier too. Since Sue's helped us diagnose and treat him for the parasites he had, he has not had a single infection since then or taken any antibiotics and it's been six months so far. I'm delighted! His Dad describes him as, “a new little man!”. So the whole family is happier as well - all thanks to Sue's fantastic advice and support. I'll be eternally grateful.

Thanks again for your support... if I stray from my healthy ways or start to fell unwell again I will be sure to contact you. Thanks for all your research for my cause! I have learnt plenty which I hope I will continue to keep as part of my daily life. Thanks for all your efforts and guidance.

Sue, I have missed sessions with you. I would love you to meet my GP sometime - he would definitely benefit from getting to know you.... Thanks for the consultation - I appreciate you being relaxed and once again, I learnt more and it helped me focus!
My skin has become really fresh & everyone has noticed! It glows! My immune system has improved so much I haven’t had to take antibiotics even though last year I was taking them often. My energy levels have evened out and you’ve helped me expand the repertoire of foods I use in general cooking. So, thanks Sue for helping me out!

When Sue spoke about all the health benefits of losing weight, this was a great motivator and gave me a reason other than 'vanity' to lose weight. We worked together to agree an initial weight loss goal and I am so ecstatic to report back that I have now made it! I now have a healthy Body Mass Index, feel so much more energetic and everyone has commented on my weight loss.
The best part about it is having more energy to play with the kids and I owe it to them to be a fun part of their life by being able to play with them with vigour. Before I'd look for excuses not to play with the kids as I'd always felt too tired and felt like I would rather sit down with a cup of tea and a biscuit!
Working with Sue has been invaluable. She is tactful, so knowledgeable and really supportive. Not only has Sue supported me in my weight loss, but taking a holistic view of my health, she has helped me with other health conditions too.
I don't think I could have lost so much weight without Sue answering my questions and encouraging me to keep going. I have learnt so much about nutrition from working with Sue - valuable information that will be useful for my whole life. I now look for food which is good fuel for my body rather than eating for emotional reasons. I'm also looking forward to being a healthy role model for my kids in their lifetime to come. Thanks again Sue from the bottom of my happy, healthy heart! It's so great to understand this new perspective which I have proved really works. It's like unlocking a secret!
I really liked your help with portion control too – that has really helped me not to fall off the wagon at parties or other social gatherings. All in all it's just great and I feel so much better!

Sue helped my husband and I with general advice regarding healthy eating and weight loss, and she also put us on a liver detox program. Sue provided lots of useful supporting information, provided advice that was specific to our concerns, and was in contact with us as we progressed through the program to help keep us on track. We found the program very beneficial, and really enjoyed seeing and learning from Sue. Personally, I have more energy and feel better having completed the program. Some of my eating and drinking habits have changed as a result of seeing Sue, and I am still working on other habits!

As a full-time university student and mother of a small child, I have struggled to balance my health with my many other commitments. Last year my health deteriorated as a result. I contacted Sue for support, and through her comprehensive assessment Sue identified my needs and created a personal plan to restore my health and energy.

You were so helpful and inspiring (and you continue to be even outside the nutritionist role). You don't just talk about it. You live it and it motivates me to emulate that! You researched my lifestyle history thoroughly to work out the best healthy eating plan to suit my needs and concerns. You were so encouraging and positive with every follow-up phone call. Every small change that I made to my lifestyle would bring with it your full encouragement and support. It has made me realise that it is worth investing in making healthier choices now not just for my own wellbeing but also because of the impact that it will have on my children, as it will also be setting a great example to them.

The meeting with Sue was well balanced between a professional consultation and a personal conversation. While she is sophisticated as a nutritionist, she is not dogmatic about existing ideas but uses her experiences to find encouraging and individual solutions. I could sense that Sue appreciates her job and enjoys sharing her knowledge to support people in their journeys.

Thank you for your expertise... it has been very enjoyable and has helped me learn to make healthier choices and eating habits. I will use my new skills at home and when shopping. I enjoyed every bit of it, especially learning about food combinations.

Sue is passionate and very knowledgeable about her work, which I found motivating. She took a lot of time to research my health situation and educate me of many changes I should try to make which has been appreciated.

I’ve always had a terrible diet, made up of way too much junk and not enough good stuff. Sue offered the right balance of education and support so that I could make corrections piece by piece and not be overwhelmed by an impossible task. I first approached Sue while I was living overseas, and she was able to offer a flexible service, where we had our sessions by email. I found the biggest benefit to be the motivation of knowing that someone would be looking at my food diaries – definitely made me think twice about going for that tempting sugar-filled ‘treat’.

Sue Walter gave an entertaining and informative presentation filled with useful tips. Her session was filled with simple and practical advice that can easily be applied at home. A great interactive speaker.

Hi Sue, I just wanted to say thank you for our recent email consultation. When I contacted you, I was in a desperate and lonely place, having seen various Doctors and specialists to try and find out why I was so ill with digestive issues and ongoing intestinal infections.
Although blastocystsis hominis was found in a stool sample, there appeared to be no available treatment, and there was some question as to whether this parasite causes such ongoing illness in people... When I came across your site, and eventually contacted you, I wasn't sure if you could help me as I don't live in your area. You were so very helpful and generous in your advice to me, and sent me a great deal of information and dietary recommendations, plus the necessary contacts to finally access the right treatment to eradicate 'blasto'.
Most importantly, I finally felt as though my symptoms were very real and I was not alone, and you gave me the hope and empathy I needed to finally take charge of my health.
Thank you Sue, you are a blessing.

I first saw Sue Walter back in 2012 for a recurring Blastocystis Hominis infection. I had read about Sue's similar experience with the same parasite and how she eventually eradicated it and returned to good health. Sue seriously helped me more than any Dr, Prof, Gastro I have seen (and I have seen 'a lot'). I hate pumping myself with drugs but Sue made me see it really was the only option and with the right after care, my gut will in time recover :). I trusted Sue's advice as she was living proof this approach works!
